Emptying SkimmerRegularly check and empty skimmer basket. regularity depends on amount of trees present around the pond. expect to do this more often in Autumn. Clean Biological FilterOnce or twice a year check up on the biofalls located at the top of your waterfalls. The sponges and filter media needs to be rinsed out with pond water and clear any debris that has settled in the bottom of the filter. Annual Drain and Clean Once a year, perform a drain and clean. This replicates the spring snow melt which you would see in nature, flushing the system and giving it a great start to the year.
